Invasion!

I have described before my ambivalence towards ladybirds – this Harlequin Ladybird reinforces it.  They were, apparently, introduced to the USA in the 1980s and they were first found in Britain in 2004.  They are not dangerous but they do hibernate in houses <shudder> and worse than that, they can affect soft fruit and grapes, making wine taste funny!
